What is
evolution?
Evolution is the change in the inherited
characteristics of biological populations over generations. Evolutionary
processes give rise to diversity at every level of biological organization,
including species, individual organisms and molecules such as DNA and proteins.
Who is
Charles Robert Darwin?
Charles
was born 12 February 1809 and died 19 April 1882 . Charles was an English naturalist.
He thought that all species of life have descended over time from common
ancestors,[1] and proposed the scientific theory that this branching pattern of
evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection, in which
the struggle for existence has a similar effect to the artificial selection
involved in selective breeding.
