“the importance of being prompt”
If your not prompt then your not responsible. Being prompt
is very important.being prompt is like being on time. Being on time is very
important too. Being prompt in your early years of adolescence will help you
later on in life.you could be prompt during an interview, party, school classes,
ect… One reason as to why being on time is important is because showing up late
is rude and it messes up other people's schedules. Showing up on time shows
that you are not only responsible but professional as well. Showing up late
makes you come off as flaky and people will think that you do not care about
your career. Even though showing up on time to an appointment shows
responsibility and professionalism, showing up a few minutes early is even
better. When you show up about 10 minutes early it not only shows that you are
responsible but that you are a hard worker and trustworthy too. It shows that you respect the people that
you're meeting, and that you care as much about their time as your own. In
other words, it demonstrates that your not a selfish little jerk who thinks she
is more important than everyone else, and that everyone else ought to wait
around for her.
It shows that you are diligent and dependable, and that you do what you've agreed to.
It shows that you aren't completely self-absorbed.
It prevents you from interrupting others when they are talking or working, by your late arrival.
